This Vanishing Point retractable fountain pen from Pilot features a beautifully designed metal body with a modern, sophisticated matte blue finish paired with matte black trim. The 18k gold nib is plated in a dark metal and retracts with a push of the top knock button. The pen is weighted well for comfortable writing.

This pen features a stub nib, which creates wide downstrokes and thin side-strokes. It's great for calligraphy or just adding flair to your writing.

A converter and one blue ink cartridge are included with this pen. A metal cartridge cap is also included, for covering the ink cartridge to protect it from the nib retraction mechanism. The pen comes packaged in a gift box.

I bought this for my husband. He had been eyeing it for a while. He enjoys the feel and weight of the pen. He liked that it came with the converter. He does have issues with certain paper and the smoothness of the writing but he states he’s going to try some different inks. He says overall one of the best pens he’s ever owned.

Good looking pen. It is well made. The stub nib on this pen is crisper than the Pilot VP stubs I bought years ago. That is a good thing for my italic handwriting. As usual, Jet Pens packed my order well and shipped promptly.
