Life is a jungle, and the LAMY safari is here to guide you through it one pen stroke at a time. With its remarkable build quality and a design that feels as fresh and modern as it did when it was first released in the early '80s, there's room for a safari in every pen cup.

Features:

Steel left-handed nib with a slightly oblique tip, designed for the angle used by many left-handed writers. It creates a similar line to a medium LAMY nib.
Ergonomically shaped grip section.
Ink window in the barrel.
Easy ink installation—simply put the cartridge inside the barrel or grip section, then screw the barrel and grip section together to automatically puncture the cartridge.
Sturdy ABS plastic construction.
Large, flexible metal pocket clip.
One blue ink cartridge.

Notes:

To prevent the ink cartridge from being punctured in transit, this pen comes with a cardboard spacer ring between the barrel and grip section. The ring must be removed before using the pen.
This pen may come with ink residue in the nib from being dip tested by LAMY at the factory. As with all new fountain pens, JetPens recommends giving your pen a good cleaning before you use it.

If you are left handed...

If you are left handed and find that regular fountain pens dig into the paper, then this is the one to get. It writes amazingly smooth and never tears into even the thinnest of paper. The nib is more of a medium size, as opposed to fine. And, it comes with Lamy blue ink, as opposed to the common blue-black shades of blue ink. I personally find this shade of ink more pleasing to the eye, especially in regards to writing on bright white paper, because the contrast is not as stark.

Love this pen. I bought the Left handed nib. My dad always used a fountain pen, Parker (?) with his signature turquoise ink. I was always fascinated with it.

I stumbled upon jet pens and I’m hooked again. I did tons of research and watched the videos.

My Lamy writes beautifully and makes me want to get back into it. I tend to be heavy handed and this is breaking that bad habit.
