Life is a jungle, and the LAMY safari is here to guide you through it one pen stroke at a time. With its remarkable build quality and a design that feels as fresh and modern as it did when it was first released in the early '80s, there's room for a safari in every pen cup.

Features:

  • Steel left-handed nib with a slightly oblique tip, designed for the angle used by many left-handed writers. It creates a similar line to a medium LAMY nib.
  • Ergonomically shaped grip section.
  • Ink window in the barrel.
  • Easy ink installation—simply put the cartridge inside the barrel or grip section, then screw the barrel and grip section together to automatically puncture the cartridge.
  • Sturdy ABS plastic construction.
  • Large, flexible metal pocket clip.
  • One blue ink cartridge.

Notes:

  • To prevent the ink cartridge from being punctured in transit, this pen comes with a cardboard spacer ring between the barrel and grip section. The ring must be removed before using the pen.
  • This pen may come with ink residue in the nib from being dip tested by LAMY at the factory. As with all new fountain pens, JetPens recommends giving your pen a good cleaning before you use it.

This left hand pen writes very well for me, a nice flow. The line is wider than I use with ballpoint pens but is much easier for me to read later. I will most likely order another so I can keep a second color of ink on hand.

I LOVE this pen. It writes smooth. I dont, however, really like the ink cartridges that came with it. I LOVE an ink converter and bottled ink. I feel this pen wrote so much better this way. I tried several bottled inks with the ink converter. It’s now one of my favorites!
