Verified Purchase
As with many fountain pen enthusiasts, LAMYs comprise decent % of my assortment
of various types of pens. They are smooth right out of the box, virtually
indestructible, with excellent (but not particularly fancy) nibs. I'm a
left-hander, and I'd purchased and loved 8 Al-stars and before I ever discovered
they make a left-handed version. So I recently went for 1 of those in the
lovely "graphite" color. To be honest, I don't see much difference with the
left-handed model, but it's certainly no worse. A great pen, perfect weight and
grip, smooth writer, and doesn't dry up when capped for several days.
