PencilsDown.org will provide the public with two important pieces of consumer information per state.
  1. How much money does each state spend per year on standardized testing?
  2. What is the law governing student participation in the standardized testing process? In other words, does a student have to take the state test? Do they have to take the test each year? How does a parent exempt their child from the testing process?

This information will expose the enormous costs associated with standardized testing and empower parents to exempt their children from the process.
